"Skating Fun"

     Over winter break, I took the kids to Belmont Iceland to ice skate with a group of friends.  The price of admission is $7 for adults and $6 for children.  Renting skates was only $3.  These prices are not bad compared to other rinks we've been to.
     There are many times available for open skating.  The children are to wait out and take a break after each session so that the ice could be smoothed over by the zamboni.  The location is well kept and clean.  There is ample seating outside the rink for adults to watch their children.  Unlike other places, there isn't a cafe in which snacks can be purchased.  They have a couple rooms in which parties are held.
     We threw a birthday party there and had a wonderful experience.  Everything was taken care of and the children loved it.  We paid a little extra to have an instructor give the children a lesson on the ice.  It was organized and fun.  We were allowed to bring in our own food and the clean up was quick and easy.  The birthday packages are priced very reasonably.
     I recommend Belmont Iceland for both open skate and birthday parties.  It's just plain old fun with the family!
