With a focus on expanding the imagination and curiosity of children, the Bellefonte Museum display art and culture from Pennsylvania and around the world with rotating exhibits like "A World of Stitches: Appliqué Art from Benin, Panama, and Pennsylvania."
The goal of the Bellefonte Museum is to promote appreciation of the area’s heritage, especially among children. The hard-working volunteer staff visits schools and has set up exhibits around town. The museum is now housed in the historic Benner–Linn House, donated to the town by the Omega Bank next door. The exhibits change at least three times per year and are designed for both children and adults.
