"Gorgeous walk"

This is a nice place to hike and the kids will like it too.  You can see airplanes taking off and landing right across the Bay, it is a nice, paved walk, with a gorgeous view.  It's not that long so you can do it all with kids, walk to one of the restaurants that face the trail, or walk halfway and back to your hotel.

"Love airplanes?"

Bayfront Park and Baytrail at the east end of Millbrae Avenue is a place where you can bring the kids for watching commercial airliners touch down and take off from the San Francisco International Airport. It has a bit of greenery and a well maintained walking trail south of the airport along the bay, right next to the backyard of the Westin hotel. It can be windy and chilly as a playground.  Cost:Free.  http://www.abag.org/bayarea/baytrail/vtour/map2/access/Btsm2mb/Btsm2mb.htm20
