Bass River State Park

"Campers Welcome"

This park is great for a day trip and also for long term camping.  I used to go here when I was kid and they have great hiking and a nice view of the river.  They provide each campsite with a fire pit and picnic table, lean-tos and small cabins.  The toilets, showers and laundry facilities are walking distance from the campsites.  You can swim in the lake from Memorial Day to Labor Day and picnic tables and charcoal grills are availble near the lake.  I've had birthday parties in the picnic areas as a kid.  You can fish and as kids will love exploring the outdoors.
