"Great Park!"

We had a Mother's Day Picnic at this park one year and it wasn't even too crowded as we thought it might be.  There was another family having a bridal shower on the other side of the pond.  It's very peaceful out there even though it's not too far from town.  It's a very safe park and there's plenty of room to let kids run and be wild.

"Great Park!"

We love this park!!!  It has 2 different levels that cater to different age groups - the lower is for the tiny tots and the upper is for age kiddos a little older...maybe 2+ years old.  There is a man-made lake at the upper level - very fun for the kiddos!

The only thing to be aware of is it can get VERY hot during those hot summer days as there is not a lot of shade cover.  Other than that it is an awesome park!!

"one of the nicest parks in the area"

Barney Schwartz Park is great for older and young kids, they have two playgrounds, an upper area and a lower area.  They have a nice walking path, soccer fields, baseball diamonds, and a small lake.  there are a few picnic benches, but very little shade cover, so bring sunscreen and/or an umbrella.  Dogs are not allowed at the park.  The park also has great local events occasionally, like a kite fest and hosting the fireworks.

"Great Park"

Lot of activities for kids of all ages, good restroom facilities as well.  On weekends there is even a food station since there are soccer and baseball games going on.  The only 2 downsides are that there is no shade on a hot day and on a Sunday afternoon the park is messy from a weekend of lots of use.

We usually stay at the lower park but the older kids seem to like the upper park with the pond.  There is a good walking trail if you want to get a bit of a workout.

"Fun park, but not a lot of shade"

This has to be one of our favorite parks in Paso Robles!  Barney Schwartz Park has 2 different playground areas.  The one on the top is great for bigger kids, and has a fishing pond.  The one on the lower level has a great playground for smaller kiddos.  There isn't a lot of shade over the playground area though, so remember your sunscreen!

"Great Park"

This is a great park for kids of many ages. Both my 2 year old and my 8 year old love it here. There is a great pond on the upper level that they have a kids fishing derby at once a year. Kids can ride bikes on the walking paths or run wild all over the many fields.

"Wonderful!"

This is the best park in the Paso Robles area.  There are two separate play structures and they don't have a lot of places where kids can fall off.  The ground is the rubber matting and sand.  Only a few swings though.  There is covered seating nearby for Mom and it's always clean.  Great for birthday parties.

"Great Park!"

Barney Schwartz Park is a great family fun park!  It has two playgrounds, softball fields, soccer fields, and a large pond for fishing and putting your feet in.  Their are covered areas for bbq's and birthday parties/anniversaries/etc...  Every 4th of July they put on a fireworks display that can be seen from miles around and other activities as well.  The playgrounds themselves are very well maintained and new, so they are in great condition.  This is one of my favorite parks.
