There is not much to this park...an observation tower, a couple of those spring airplane toys you can ride on, and tons of benches and picnic tables. At first glance, you are going to think you should get back in the car and find a playground. Until you walk to the observation tower and look around. As you listen to air traffic control (speakers hooked up to air traffic control blasts things they and the pilots say) speaks, you will hear the roar of a plane engine as it speeds out from behind a nearby building and takes off. You can watch all sorts of planes from little ones to large passenger jets because this park is located on the Pensacola Airport flight line. We spent an hour sitting, watching the planes, and running around the pretend runway.
