Austin City Limits (ACL) Fest

"Fun Family Friendly Festival"

We love live music and so do our kids.  This is a great place for us to take the kids for family friendly fun.  It has multiple stages with every kind of music you can imagine over three days every fall.  It is held at Austin's Zilker Park.  Children 10 and under are free with a ticketed adult.  They even have "Austin Kiddie Limits" http://www.aclfestival.com/experience/austin-kiddie-limits/ which is shaded and totally set aside from the main event.  They have their own stage with kid friendly music, people doing temporary tatoos and colored hairspray faux-hawks etc, etc.  There is also a HUGE sand box covered by a tent with toys for kids and chairs for adults to take a break  Our kids love going!  Last year they talked about it for weeks.  Generally we take them home and get a sitter for the evenings but we all enjoy going together during the day.  Highly recommended.
