The California Welcome Center Auburn

Swing by for travel planning! The American River, Yuba River and Bear River are open for Panning. Direction and brochures are available at the California Welcome Center for popular gold panning spots.  
The best hiking trails are in the Auburn State Recreation Area. Stop in for free trail maps.  
Snow Park passes are available November thru May. they are $5.00 for a Day Pass and $25.00 for the Season Pass, and include maps. Maps of California are available in several languages, as well as travel planners.
