Even beginning riders will enjoy the lunch ride, which meanders gently out of the redwood forest through a variety of wildlife habitats to ridgetops overlooking the Russian River Valley. On top of the world with a 360-degree view of five counties, a gourmet lunch is laid out on white tablecloths in a wildflower-strewn meadow. You can also ride your own horses on the guided pack trips and bring your own food. Children under 10 require guide’s permission; riders must be in good physical condition and able to mount without assistance.
