this is a facility where they keep and train animals for the movies. They take you on an hour long tour on which you get very close to the animals. After the tour you have the opportunity to feed and touch one of their retired elephants for and extra $5.
Our whole family ranging in age from 4 months to 29 years had alot of ! We would go again. Not terribly expensive. Right outside Salinas near Monterey. It was a great place to stop and let the kids out of the car for a few hours on the way up to San Francisco. They also offer summer camp activities, and have a bed and breakfast that the elephants bring you your breakfast.
