"Great day trip"

My sister and I took my 2 year old on this ferry to angel island.  He loved everything about the ferry trip.  Good idea to pack a lunch for the trip.  On angel island there is a hiking trail so wear your walking shoes.  You can hike to the top of the island and over look the ocean it is beautiful.  After our hike we sat on a picinic table by the water and had a relaxing picnic.  I highly recommend the trip to the island!

"casual sunset cruises for the whole family"

Last Saturday we went on a sunset cruise tour with the Angel-Island-Tiburon-Ferry. Seasonally, they are offering sunset cruise tours which leave in Tiburon at 6.30pm and last until 8pm. The cruises are done with the ferry ship and you are welcome to bring your own dinner and have a picknick on the bay. The whole thing is very casual, so something you can bring your toddler to. Our two-year old was free and the adults had to pay 20 dollars per person. The route is from Tiburon to the Golden Gate Bridge.
Check out the weather before you go on the ride, it is best to go when the view is nice. Also, you are well advised to bring some warm jackets, although it is also o.k. to stay inside the boat.
