The Anchorage Museum brings the best of the world to Alaska, and the best of Alaska to the world. The largest museum in Alaska offers 10,000 years of Alaska history starting with a mammoth tusk and ending with the present day. Art galleries showcase Alaska's best artists. The new Smithsonian Arctic Studies Center, Imaginarium Discovery Center and Thomas Planetarium give families a hands-on, high-tech experience. During your visit, grab a bite to eat at the award-winning Muse restaurant and buy authentic Alaska Native art in the museum shop.
