This is one of those places that I wish I could give a better review. The concept is great!!! The execution, not so great. I do have to say that we did a few birthday parties here and we had really good service from the waitress in our party room. So that was nice.
This place has probably seen better days, but it's not too run down. On occasion, some things don't work and that's a bummer, but overall, we've had good experiences.
My kids loved bowling, lazer tag, the rock wall, and the go-karts. The bumper "tires" are fun if they are all working. There is a train and a carousel for the little tikes to ride. There are a few more rides for the Kindergarten and up crowd to ride (height requirements do exist here). The mini-golf is so-so. That could REALLY use an update or complete change. The kids still had fun though and didn't seem to notice or mind at all.
The food here is buffet style as much as you want to eat. Soda included... Pizza is ok, mac and cheese is blah. I actually enjoyed the salad bar quite a bit. Good choices and I think it's better than Chuck-e-Cheese. There's enough here for everyone to get something that they like. Don't expect 5-star food though. More like 2-3 star. The cookies and soft serve ice cream are decent.
This place can be rather expensive. The buffet runs from $6.99 for kids to $9.99 for adults. A 3-hour unlimited ride pass is about $15. If you look on their website or sign up for emails, you will find discounts. The birthday discount they offered through an email was about half price and I think that was definitely worth it.
Overall, this is a fun place to take the kids. They will have lots of fun! I highly recommend going right after school on a weekday to completely avoid crowds. The only thing about that is they may be a little short staffed and the kids may have to go from ride to ride with the staff (not enough operators). Also, if there are more than 10 people in line for the go-karts, you'll be waiting for a while...
