Follow Gold St. to Elizabeth St. to the end of Hope St. This former boat dock is recently remodelled with new bathrooms, drinking fountain, sitting area and boardwalk.  I enjoy the peaceful stroll along the bay waters and the salt marsh.  Birds and wildlife are plentiful.  I saw a gull swooping down to eat a mouse. Lots of free parking. Kids can see AmTrak go by from the marsh, and watch the red-necked stilts eating worms.
