Alexandria Seaport Center

"Fun with the Family"

Built and launched in 1998, the Alexandria Seaport Center is a two-story floating museum nestled among the docks of Alexandria. Inside you’ll find a marine enviromental sciences laboratory, an extensive maritime history library with accompanying exhibits, and a boatbuilding school.
 
Children may find the boatbuilding especially interesting to watch, since often those working on the boats will be kids their own age.
