"Fun with the Family"
A costumed pirate leads young buccaneers ages 4 to 7 on a hunt through Alexadria’s hideouts on Trail of the Pirate’s Treasure, offered Saturday mornings at 10:00 a.m., by reservation only, spring through fall. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
Purchase the Old Town Scavenger Hunt and follow the clues for a self-guided history trip. Packets lead you to information on either George Washington; Dr. James Craik, Washington’s friend and physician; or William Ramsay, a wealthy tobacco merchant. Ghouls and spirits star in the Ghost & Graveyard Tour, open to ages 11 and older.
