"Great history"

Although you must get permission from the security guards to enter the grounds, you needn’t visit as part of a tour.  Within the heiau grounds is a temple dedicated to the god of fertility, Lono. The oracle tower, or anuu, is the tallest part of the heiau and is where the high-ranking priest would meditate and receive messages from the gods.
